“The world is going through a moment of energy transition and cooperation with China also includes this theme. I see a great opportunity to learn and bring initiatives that will help transform the cities of São Paulo into smart cities”, declared the governor. Freitas and Peijie also discussed the possibility of projects in the area of public security, which may include cooperation for the transfer of know-how and exchange between police forces.

In the commercial field, International Business Secretary Lucas Ferraz presented the scope of the new secretariat, responsible for formulating public policies for facilitating and promoting trade, as well as initiatives for attracting investment, which, according to the Chinese consul, may bring even more companies to the State.
